CE QUE C'EST
Apple was founded in 1976 and is a consumer-electronics and operating-system company. It launched the Siri voice assistant in 2011 and Apple Intelligence in 2024, folding generative features into system-level apps while emphasising on-device processing and privacy.
Pourquoi c'est important
It made on-device inference plus privacy its landing point, representing a product route quite different from the cloud-model approach of its peers.
