United States Big tech Closed
WHAT IT IS
Adobe was founded in 1982 and is a creative and document software company behind Photoshop and Premiere. In 2023 it introduced the Firefly generative models, putting text-to-image and image editing directly inside Creative Cloud, with an emphasis on the provenance of training data.
Why it matters
It placed generative capability inside existing professional workflows and emphasised training-data provenance, offering another path for how generative models enter commercial creative tools.
