WHAT IT IS
Gemini is a conversational app Google DeepMind introduced in February 2024, renamed from the product previously called Bard. Chats are the main entry point, with text, image and voice input, and it can draw on information from Google Search and Workspace apps. Gemini is offered on the web and on mobile, with image generation and real-time spoken dialogue added later.
